In March 2026, Transconverter produced a pulse voltage generator, the GIN-01.

The pulse voltage generator GIN-01 (hereinafter referred to as the GIN) is designed to test auxiliary converters of railway rolling stock for immunity to pulse overvoltages. The tests are carried out in accordance with the requirements of clause 4.9.3.5 of GOST 33726-2016.

Structurally, the GIN consists of two components:

– a power unit in the form of a portable case;

– an operator’s panel.

The GIN has a single-phase input voltage of 230 V, 50 Hz and an output pulse voltage of 650 ± 30 V DC.

The overall dimensions of the power unit are 668×310×255 mm, and those of the operator’s panel are 228×228×101 mm.

The GIN has successfully passed the full cycle of required acceptance tests and has been declared fit for operation.
