In December 2006 the pilot project “Traction drive assembly KTP1200 for the high-speed electric train ED14”, developed by the design office Transconverter, Ltd., was presented at the Council of Chief Designers CJSC Transmachholding.


In March 2006 two PSN235 U2 converters that had been manufactured at production facilities at “Transconverter” were passed over to the Novocherkassk Locomotive Plant.


In 2005, the sales of products manufactured by the CJCS Transmashholding’s enterprises grew by almost 73 percent over 2004 – from US$855 million to US$1.5 billion (net of VAT).


In February 2006 two PSN235 U2 converters were fully assembled at the production facilities of “Transconverter”, they are components for future-proof 2ES4K class electric freight locomotive.


In December 2005 “Transconverter” finished the assembly of PSN80-01 U1 converter designed for ED4M, ED4MK and ED6 class electric trains to be operated on railways sections with 3000 V DC.



In July 2005 ООО Transconverter and OAO Tverskoy Vagonostroitelny Zavod have concluded a strategic partnership agreement for development of the high-voltage converters production and extension of their application in passenger coaches.


 The ООО Transconverter Board of Directors meeting of May 17, 2005 has made a decision regarding organizational, production, and financial items.


In December 2005 “Transconverter” finished the assembly of PSN80-01 U1 converter designed for ED4M, ED4MK and ED6 class electric trains to be operated on railways sections with 3000 V DC.
