In December 2022, Transconverter LLC according to the concluded Contract with NERZ LLC (Sinara-TM) released a bench converter of PS70-02 YHL4 type, which is meant for planned test of traction asynchronous motors.

The bench converter PS70-02 YHL4 has a power supply cabinet and an operator’s remote panel equipped with a touch screen through which it is possible to set, memorize and select algorithms for acceleration and braking modes of the tested traction asynchronous motor 1TB2822-0GS02 when testing wheel-motor unit of the electromotive of 2ES10.

The converter has an input three-phase line voltage 400 V, 50 Hz, the output three-phase line voltage from 135 to 600 V with the frequency from 27 to 120 Hz and the output power 70 kVA.

Since 2010, PS70 YHL4 series converters have been successfully operated at enterprises Ural locomotives LLC, Siemens LLC and STM-Service LLC.
