In July 2022, Transconverter in accordance with the concluded Contract with “Novosibirsk Electric Locomotive Building Plant” launched into production the converter PS70-02 YHL4 which is meant for testing drive asynchronous motors which are installed on motor bogies.

The converter PS70-02 UHL4 has a power supply cabinet and a remote-control panel equipped with a touch screen. Using the touch screen, an operator can install, memorize and select the algorithms of acceleration and braking modes of the tested drive asynchronous motor.

The output power of the converter is 70 kVA.

Since 2010 the converters of PS70 UHL4 series are successfully operated at the enterprises “Ural Locomotives”, “Siemens” and “STM-Service”.
