In January 2013 ООО “Transconverter” finished preparation of the declaration about conformity of frequency converter PCh36 Y1 to requirements of safety NB ZT CL-CT 139-2003.

The frequency converter PCh36 Y1 transforms the 3-phase voltage of 380V, 50 Hz into 3-phase voltage of 92..368 V, 20..80 Hz.

Сonverter designed for electric locomotives ED4M and locomotives of other series, which uses 3-phase power supply of 380V and frequency 50 Hz . In particular, it used to supply two compressors of air conditioning system of ED4M locomotives.

The frequency converter PCh36 Y1 has a maximum output power of 47 kVA.
