In February, 2016 Transconverter JSC released a new version 02 of PS70-02 UHL4 converter designed for benchmark tests of asynchronous traction motors mounted on power trucks.

The new version of the bench-top converter PS70-02 UHL4 features a remote-position control fitted with touch-screen, using which one can set, record, and select algorithms of acceleration and braking modes of asynchronous traction motor under test.

Maximum output power of developed converter is 70 kVA.

Since 2010 PS70 UHL4 converters have been successfully exploited at the enterprises of “Uralskie Lokomotivy” JSC and Siemens JSC.
