In November, 2015 Transconverter started to develop a set of cable assemblies designed to transfer data via Ethernet bus.

8-polar electric connectors of UIC-IT series produced by Schaltbau, which show good results on German railways, are taken as a basis of developed cable assemblies.
The set of cable assemblies will contain:

– a special-purpose cable, which will be preliminarily fitted in a plug. Cable length is customizable

– a special-purpose cable, which will be preliminarily fitted in a socket with built-in protection of plug-and-socket exterior. Cable length is customizable

– a blind socket with built-in protection of plug-and-socket exterior

The developed set of cable assemblies can be used on both electrical trains and passenger-trains with locomotive haulage.
