In August 2023, the design office Transconverter, OOO, has started developing a PS35 YHL4 converter, which is designed to supply a single-phase load with an output voltage of 650 V, 400 Hz.

According to the terms of reference, the converter PS35 YHL4 should have an input three-phase voltage equals 400 V, 50 Hz, and an output single-phase regulated voltage from 100 to 650 V, 400 Hz. In this case, the output voltage should have a rectangular shape with zero pauses equals 125 ms. The converter should be designed for a nominal output current of 30 A. It will provide a maximum overload output current of 50 A for 1 sec.

The control system of the converter should display information about the value of the output voltage amplitude, the effective value of the output current and the operation status.

The converter will have a galvanic isolation between the input voltage 400 V, 50 Hz and the output single-phase voltage 650 V, 400 Hz.

Structurally, it will be made in the form of a cabinet unit that will be installed in an industrial premises.
